In this episode of Talks, Dr. Jess interviews her friend and colleague on W+, Dr. Natalia Sobirats who gets vulnerable when she shares her own personal health journey with endometriosis

Sharing her personal journey with endometriosis and its connection to the gut, particularly in relation to Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), has been an empowering experience for Dr. Natalia. When she was first diagnosed with endometriosis, she struggled to find answers and effective treatments for the debilitating symptoms she was experiencing. Little did she know that there was a hidden link between her reproductive health and gut health. Through months of persistence and a willingness to explore unconventional avenues, she discovered that SIBO was exacerbating my endometriosis symptoms. By sharing her story, she hopes to raise awareness about the complex interplay between these two conditions and the importance of considering gut health in the management of endometriosis. Together, we can foster a supportive community and facilitate a deeper understanding of these interconnected health issues.

In this episode, you’ll learn:

  1. How SIBO, gut health and hormones are connected
  2. How and why Dr. Natalia figured this out and was diagnosed
  3. Dietary recommendations
  4. What Dr. Natalia did to heal

Enjoy!
