Been treated for hypothyroidism for 12 years. Just now thinking about root causes. Looked at the one time I got labs for antibodies (a few years ago now) and my TPO were normal (3IU/ml) and my TGA was high 5IU/ml. Wondering this whole time if my actual problem is iodine deficiency?? Thinking about supplementing since it looks like I don’t have hashimotos. Thoughts? Thank you!! Hope the retreat is a blast 🙂
