While not ideal, sometimes in vitro fertilization treatment is the next step if one has tried to achieve pregnancy naturally and it hasn’t gone well. There are also some folks that choose IVF for genetic reasons. It can be a mourning process in itself, accepting that you won’t be able to conceive naturally after years of trying. There can be some structural malformation such as blocked fallopian tubes, endometriosis, or the male partner has an issue with the quality or quantity of his sperm. 1. Hormonal Harmony: Balancing Thyroid Function

While the standard TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) level is often used as a primary marker, a narrower range is recommended for individuals undergoing fertility treatments. The optimal TSH range for IVF candidates is between 0.5 and 2.5 mIU/L.

Additionally, a thorough evaluation of thyroid function should include testing for thyroid antibodies, free T3, and reverse T3.
